My American Girl is a collaborative work of fantasy by a German man and an American woman. Beginning as an email correspondence then becoming a series of videos, the two strangers discuss past experiences and invite one another to perform and re-enact eachother’s memories of failed relationships, while altering their outcomes through ficitonal improvisations.

Versions of this work have exhibited at Open White Gallery in Berlin and at Elsewhere Gallery in Brooklyn, and been featured in EMERGENCY INDEX: An Annual Document of Performance Practice, Vol. 9.
